Wren is very fussy for like a whole month once everyone returns to the normal world and thus Maxwell, Wilson, and Wren are human instead of harpies. Very confused and overwhelmed baby. Maxwell and Wilson are struggling.
What would have happened if Maxwell was the one that layed the egg?

I actually discussed this with a friend funny enough. Unfortunately, any egg that Max would have produced wouldn’t make it. His hips are too narrow and he’d only make small, non-viable eggs that might be fertilized but wouldn’t grow beyond a certain point. It’s actually kinda really sad to think about kljfhslkdjfa But only in the context of if they were trying for a child, which they very much were not. Wren was a total accident and they were uncertain about if it was the right decision to keep the egg all the way up until Wren hatches, to which they do not regret their choice and love Wren with all their hearts and primal bird parent instincts lol
hhh- mermaid Wilson tempting sailor William/Maxwell? Or some feathery harpy-like Max and Wilson being snuggly? Harpies can be fun since they've got soft floof, but they also got teeth and claws- a nice mix of cuddly and terrifying, depending on the circumstances.
