I suppose just as an update over here

My father passed away rather suddenly on Tuesday, the 10th of August. Still sort of. Dealing with the reality that he’s gone. It hasn’t fully sunk in.

I was able to make the three hour drive and say goodbye in the hospital before he passed. It was a combination of things that created the perfect storm in his health and it just happened too quickly to react in any way that could have saved him. Just within 18 hours of him falling ill, he was gone.

I loved him a lot and he helped me become the adult I am. Helped me be able to go back to school and finish my degree. I hope he knows how much we loved him.
