Ahhhhh Thank you! I’m actually really glad you asked this cause I love telling such stories *v*

So, when did I get into drawing?

(This is gonna be long so adding a readmore)

I guess like a lot of artists, I’ve always been drawing technically. I’ve always been artsy-crafty and whatnot. When I specifically got into illustration and cartoons seriously though, is when I was 8 years old. That’s when I was suddenly opened to the magical word of animu. Specifically, Naruto. Anime was a completely foreign thing to me before hand, if you don’t count Pokemon.

So I began the path down animu lane, drawing stuff like this-

(That’s a motherfucking digimon fancomic right there. There’s like 20 pages to it that I had saved)

Basically your typical haul of weeb art from ages like 8 to 11

Then I got into Kingdom Hearts along with a Org13 RP group on DA

This is also around the time I got into digital art

Before I had a tablet

Yep I had an entire digital art phase where I drew with only a mouse on a laptop all in OpenCanvas 1.0

still lots of traditional art though

This is also around the time when I first created the characters for my main comic plan, called ‘Bounty’

Eventually I moved away from the DA group and focused on more just personal rps with friends and whatnot. Also when I got my first tablet ever. It’s basically all garbage.

Eventually, this part of my life came to a close because of stuff. I need to distract myself from the stuff that had happened, so in grand ol’ 2012, I decided to make a Once-ler Askblog

Speed through 2 years of stupid rp stuff and he now looks like this

Along with Gray

I sorta skipped those 2 years since you can view them all through my art tag and Paint’s dumb blog < w >

Basically, I’ve been drawing drawing for 10 years now. Definitely a lot of work into all of it and I know I can do better so I try to push myself with my art whenever I can.

Right now though, I’m in a bit of a stump with art and drawing has felt like a chore. However, I hope to break through this once college starts up and my mind is receiving more mental stimulation!
