Oh hey I can post this now!
Art I did for @higgsburyscience UwU
A Wilson companion piece to this other Maxwell painting I did
I accidentally went pretty hard on this one though when I meant to stay more stylized/simplistic….lolwhoops
Imagine if The Constant was actually wilderness hell where there wasn’t a weird stasis on hair growth and clothes wearing out. Anyway here’s Wildman Wilson
I did actually draw this

William’s tune will change once he learns Wilson left for a family funeral tho
Talked with pals and drew this in class when I should have been working. William asks Wilson out on a date. Wilson has a family emergency and can’t properly cancel so he accidentally leaves William hangin’
Ok so- I know that Wilson’s whole fingerless-glove-sleeves-thing look is total fanon and not a legit thing that he wears, at least as far as official Klei art goes.
BUT…I think I have a reasonable excuse for why he would wear something similar at the very least.
For engineers, mechanics, and even folks who work around/handle hot liquids, there’s something called Heat Sleeves. If you’ve worked in fast food, you’ve probably had to use them to clean out the deep-fryers (I have)

Look familiar, right? Sure, I don’t necessarily think they had them in the 1920s, but DS hasn’t always had an air-tight seal on historical accuracy. So I think it’s fair to argue that Wilson is wearing something like this to protect his arms since he seems to be a mix of a chemist and engineer/inventor.
