I agree that there just needs to be more characters/stories like that- representation with illness and mobility aids and stuff is really important.
And yeah- I wanted the brothers’ sort of disdain to be a past thing, something that neither of them are proud of and work every day to make it up to Hypnos
An idea of a modern au Hypnos who has Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Before Hypnos got his diagnosis, his brothers often ragged on him for being lazy/unmotivated. After he got the official diagnosis, Thanatos and Charon felt absolutely awful & worked hard to become closer & support each other more.
Hypnos is just happy to have his brothers around more.
Nyx: -Neglects to mention that Hypnos starts to float upwards when sleeping and Thanatos randomly teleports sometimes-
