Ok so I merged some elements of mine and Stram’s designs together and I think I like this one best actually. His bottom half is the same but now his neck plumage flows backwards more, similar to his winter coat and in TRADITIONAL HARPY FASHION, this is more of a tits-out look
I just noticed that in your recent drawing harpy maxwell’s wings are connected to his arms? Before you’ve drawn his arms and wings as separate things?
AnonymousThey’re two separate designs! My friend @strampunch prefers a more traditional harpy design. I’ve been messing around with both, but I am more of a fan of him having arms AND wings rather than one-in-the-same.
I’m very interested in that harpy au of yours! I would love to know more about it! Does Maxwell fluff up when he’s angry? Does he have any dietary restrictions? Are his feathers good enough to keep him warm during the winter? And does that make Charlie a harpy too?

He definitely puffs up when Wilson delivers a particularly awful pun, or to scare off spiders and such. I think he can eat whatever but definitely still prefers finer things. He used to be human but They thought it was amusing to really play up the motif of a bird in a cage and clipped wings and all those lack of freedom metaphors. As such, Charlie is not a harpy, no
And yes. Those feathers ARE very good in winter. Wilson takes advantage of it as well
Yo I spent all day drawing Harpy Max because I like birds. Once he’s freed from the nightmare throne birdcage, his wings are super stiff and suffering from atrophy so he can’t fly or even stretch them until Wilson helps him with a bit o physical therapy and such.
