I just watched The Thief and the Cobbler for the first time. It was the ‘recobbled’ version

Basically the version that dear Richard Williams intended it to be like, without any songs or voice-overs like in the 'finished’ version, The Princess and the Cobbler

Despite the wonderful original version not having been completely finished, it’s still an amazing movie and I adore Tack. Their way of expressing his emotions via the tacks in his mouth and how they could create such a strong character that only says 4 words in the entire movie is delightfully clever and very well done.

I mean yeah, Tack’s voice at the end doesn’t fit him??? And I don’t understand how he went from being pale as a ghost to as dark as Princess Yum-Yum (I guess it was from his sunburn???) But either way, wowzers I’m glad I took the time to watch it. Might be drawing Tack sometime soon, I just simply adore the little cobbler to bits

I only wish with all my heart that poor Richard Williams could of truly had the movie be his 'grand masterpiece’ in full completion
